Nice people at the reception (but on the other hand most Italians are :); fairly close to Venice (25-30 minutes bus ride); OK price for a double room per night; OK breakfast
It was close to the airport which is what we were looking for. Travel to the hotel from the grand canal was easy. Staff were very helpful.
Restaurant was closed and bar and hotel had no ice.
The staff was very helpful, nice and informitive.
The hotel was easy to get to, right along the tram route. The hotel was eco friendly, using key cards to turn on the electricity for the ac only while in the room. The breakfast was fantastic!
The shower in the bathroom was very small... I am tall and when I had to get the shampoo bottle from the floor, I had to open the shower door to be able to bend down to pick it up. Also, the "free" shuttle did not start until 9 (which was advertised) however when I asked the price for a 4:00am shuttle, I was at first told 20 Euros, and then when I went to pay it was 30 Euros, which was expensive for a 5km drive. I would still stay there again.
The breakfast is the best!!!! Like a five star hotel, in addition there is a pizzeria near the hotel that produces lovely pizzas and won several prizes internationally. Although the area is pretty dead at night, the ideal is to spend the day in Venice and only return to the hotel to sleep. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel and it takes you 45 min to reach Venice, the best is that the trip from the airport is a short one and can cost you no more than 20 euro.
The location is handy to go to Venice, however there is no night life so you need to make sure that you do everything you want before arriving to the area.
Easy access to Venice via city bus 19. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood. The included breakfast is a very nice spread. They recommended a good restaurant (pizza house Da Piero) for dinner. The taxi the hotel arranged for us to take to the airport at 4:45 a.m. on Easter Sunday was priced fairly and the man showed up as promised.
Our room was tiny. The hotel made no effort to put us and our traveling companions near one another. Housekeeping neglected to provide soap and drinking cups and a pillowcase on a pillow. The walls between rooms are thin. None of these is a major negative.
Breakfast choice was good, there was something to suit every taste. Our room and bathroom were cleaned everyday.
Beds were slightly uncomfortable and there was only one small window in the room.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Venice island was just a 20minute bus ride away that came frequently. Super Pizzeria named Jungle Pizza just a block away. Would come back again.
We were meeting friends at the airport and we found the location perfect for a night. We were also able to access the airport from the hotel by bus easily. This is also located in a small town that is very charming and away from Venice itself for a break from the tourists.
We stayed here because we needed to make an early morning flight back to the USA.
The hotel is easy to reach with public transportation; bus 15 from the airport runs every half hour. (stop Piazza Piastrello) Also the hotel provides a shuttle service on request. There is a very nice restaurant nearby, alla Pesa.
Cleanliness and location to take a bus to Venice
The bed was not so good to take a good night of sleep and the air conditioning did not work well.
Location fairly close to the airport. The price was reasonable and the staff spoke good english and were very helpful.
The room was a bit small, but certainly met our needs for an overnoght stay.
Excellent value for the money. Breakfast was wonderful, and the complimentary transfer to the airport was very helpful. Hotel lobby is modern and all is very clean.
The pillows on the bed are rather hard. A choice of softer pillows would be helpful
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also gave us information on how we could best use our time in Venice, which is very easy to reach by the way using bus 4 - check out http://www.actv.it/ for map and schedule. The Internet connection was fine in our room, along with the a/c which was very appreciated. Breakfast buffet was also very good.
